Solar Eyepiece Filter

G,day all,,,I'm relatively new to astronomy and have just read the above thread on the solar eyepiece filters,,,I never considered how dangerous these could be and only chanced apon the thread and read it with awe,,,Thank you all for making this info available even 4 years after this thread was closed,,,Highly commended and still a relevant informative discussion,,,,MANY MANY THANKS Mat

No point in using one unless you want to go blind. Sloar film or PSTs are the only safe way to view the sun.
