Sorry again (NSW stargazers)

I mentioned to wife before I had a long nap this avo that I was planning on heading off to fish for jewie tonight - plan was to leave home after the movie and catch the runin tide and fish high tide and the first of the redlight (run out) on Nobbys BW , probably most the night .... woke up to find the sun gone and very grey clouds and it's now raining !!!

Sorry if all you can see now is grey stuff .... It's all my fault because I mentioned out loud the F word (FISHING)..... ..... when will I learn ??

That's ok Ian.
I've had about 6 weeks of intermittent cloud out here.
The wind has popped up this afternoon and it looks like I'll have the scope out tonight for the first time in weeks for some great viewing!
Thus Nature balances itself!
Sorry about the fishing, though.

Fish don't care, but there is nothing more miserable than sitting next to a rod all night in the rain fishing with dead baits (OK with livebaits).

And those new boulders the port corporation put down on the harbour side of the wall (granite) are slippery as hell when they are wet, not like the old sandstone and concrete ones they buried under them which were fine when wet unless they were under the high water mark and slimmy. Dangerous now when wet.
I might have gone anyway if I had some live yakkas , but I've only whole squid.
