Close planets

Took these over last 2 nights, with Mars and Venus very close together in the Western sky, also had a bright ISS both nights, though 1st night it was early and too light for Ok photos. Fireflies also around , though didnt capture any .

Yep people at my work are asking me about the close proximity of the planets (conjunctions), i,m amazed just how many people do look up at the sky at night without knowing anything about astronomy....but at least there not afraid to ask questions .........The fireflys would make great pics if your fast enough......cheers Kev.

Nice pics Liz, I especially like the wide filed which includes the Crux and omega cent, as well as the three evening planets. Well done.

Very nice work Liz. Like Rex I especially like the Crux widefield shot, nice and clear.

Hint of the NGC 4755 (The Jewel Box) in there also I think? Just above Beta Crucis.

Great shots Liz! I was planning to capture the planets and ISS as you did, but didn't get a chance . Glad you did. Thanks for posting them!

Cheers,
Stephen
