Hi Graeme,

I'm new to this but have been thinking of one of these for some time now as an entry point for imaging.

Has this webcam been modified for long exposures or is it as would be off the shelf, as it were. If not any idea of how easy it would be to do the modification?

It's not modded, Wade. I've only ever used it for planetary photography. ...an example here http://www.pbase.com/rigel003/image/83012618 used with the C11.
There is info on the web about modding them yourself. Matthew Lovell at "Telescopes and Astronomy" sells plain and modded models and might be willing to do it for you. http://www.telescopes-astronomy.com....am_philips.htm
