Selling my 10" LightBridge Dob to fund upgrades to my astrophotography setup.
I have completed the Messier 100 with this scope, as well as heaps of southern sky NGC fuzzies, all of the planets, plus a few dwarf planets & asteroids to boot (mostly from suburban Melbourne skies, with the help of an Argo Navis).
I'm keeping the Argo Navis computer/hardware for now (for use with a bigger Dob ... possibly home made ... down the track). So just selling the scope and some accessories to go with it.
The LB scope is in excellent condition, purchased from Bintel approximately 16 months ago. Very portable (OTA 17kg, base 12kg), fits within the boot of a small car.
It should be a good option for someone who wants a good quality Dob with portability (for visits to dark sky sites, or taking on family holidays etc).
