In The Shadow of the Moon - heads up

For those who missed seeing this when it was on at the cinema...this becomes available for rent from video stores in about a week...and I would imagine available for purchase around the same time

A nice addition to the home astro DVD collection

Never heard of it. Can you tell us what it is about without spoiling the fun?

I got the DVD from Amazon about 3 months ago...however, I haven't even seen it yet I was buying several other DVDs ("Seeing in the Dark", "Magnificent Desolation", and 2 DVDs on the Apollo program) and thought I may as well chuck this one in as it made no difference to the postage.

One day I may actually get to see it

Yeah, I got mine about 3 months ago too. I got my local video shop (Stop and Rock, Bathurst) to order it in for me. It's worth seeing/buying!

Some new footage that we probably haven't seen before, so of course it's worth having! What "Apollo" stuff isn't?

When I was looking on Amazon I came accross a DVD set called "The mighty Saturns". I think this will have to be one of my next purchases from there...sounds too good to miss!

I've got the Gemini DVD from the same collection as The Mighty Saturns - certainly tons of stuff in there to watch. Boy, those Titans made a funny noise at liftoff - sort of like a shriek

In The Shadow Of The Moon is an excellent DVD - you get an extra hour of astronaut interviews in the bonus material. Al Bean talks about the playboy bunnies
