A flared moon.

I recently got some films developed from my Pentax K1000 (that I bought a few months ago from eBay).

There were some decent images... for a first go with it... still lots to be learnt and adjusted... but not too bad.

Here is one image I took from my backyard of the Moon... When I took it I was hoping for more detail in the surface of the moon... but the more I look at it... I kind of like the flared effect it has taken on.

Embarrassingly I'm not sure which way up it goes... though I'm sure all of you can tell me by way of the planet (Jupiter?) also showing up in the image.

Another one... this I think was taken while on holiday in Lorne. One of the main things I wanted to get in my images when I used the Pentax... was the Milky Way... I was pretty happy with the results... though I'm sure much could be done to improve further.
