Extreme Crescent :less than 1 day old moon

Very happy tonight to capture the youngest moon I've ever seen. Age of moon 21hr 45mins. I spotted it with binoculars 20 mins after sunset. Only had 20mins to shoot before it set behind clouds. Prime focus using WO 3" 480mm achromatic refractor on tracking eq mount roughly polar aligned unguided.
Very happy!Thanks for looking.

Beautiful shots Vincent!

I imaged it as well (from Brisbane), but you've done a better job than me!

Cheers,
Stephen

That is amazing! I managed a 36 hour moon a few months ago ad that was near impossible from the UK.

That is the youngest moon I've ever seen!

Well done Vincent - I was out with my camera, but couldnt find the crescent at all, must have been a bit low behind 'lovely' trees. Better luck tonight.
