M31 with 350d and Pentax75 SDHF

Hi,

two days ago we had some clear hours. So I made my first pic of the great Andromeda Galaxy with 350D + Pentax 75 SDHF.

1x900, 4x600 and 4x120sec @ ISO800, stacked in DSS and some adjustments in PS-CS3

Its a 100% crop from the original image.

Lovely image, Werner. I'd love to capture an image of this great galaxy.

For me it doesn't get above 10 deg off the horizon!

That certainly is a most beautiful image, a really stunning celestial portrait. Looks like the Pentax is a keeper!

Werner, lovely image of a big galaxy. A hard target in Australia as it lives largely near the horizon. Very sharp with loads of detail.
