Sigh..........who bought new gear in Brisbane

Early evening went out and had a look at clear skies. Spent the last two and a half hours modding a CCD camera. Went to take the dob out for a cool down. Clouds as far as i can see.......................bugger

What we need is to manufacture of millions of tons of silica gel, so that it sucks up all this moisture!!!. We can deploy it judiciously around the place in areas where we're going to be observing from and hopefully it'll give us some clear skies for a change....regardless of equipment purchases!!!!

AHaha

Yes, it's been very cloudy in Melb. It's about time karma came our way and the feng shui washed it all away up north.

Not really, seen the latest report, clearing up tomorrow and back to normal, just bloody cold, And with all the moisture we received it will be very foggy and dewy and cold, did I mention that it will be cold?.

I need one for my secondary mirror to prevent it from fogging up.

The old timers at the store today were predicting sub zero temps by the weekend.
I'd rather the cold than the heat though. At least you can rug up for it.
