2nd July Saturn

Hi all,

Very calm here with little jetstream. So thought I would capture some Saturn images. Got this one at 6:20 although the OTA was still 4 degrees above ambient.

Captured at 7,000mm FL = 2x barlow usind DFK at 15 FPS and histogram 75% full.

Nice work Lester, great to see Saturn again so late in the season.

Anthony and I have been looking at it each evening as a judge to determine the seeing for the night. We've been showing lots of passers by and they are always blown away by what they see.

Lovely image, nice banding on the globe.
