That link took me to a heavily compressed image Peter with blocky stars like the image needed to be expanded

. Allowing for this though... it looks pretty dam good

Comparing with Yohannes and Adams recent versions though it appears that dark skies deffinitely help huh? They were 20" and 24" scopes of course.

Nice work Peter, though I agree with Mike that I noticed some nasty compression artifacts around some stars and a general blotchiness around hte halo.

But the galaxy itself, absolutely beautifuL!
