lunar mosaic 16-4

A couple of days late... Controled burns and + lots of moon light = ordinary viewing for DSOs so it was time to try my first stack of the moon. Also my first crack at wavelet filtering so any feedback is greatfully accepted.

Stacked and filtered in Registax. Mosaic of three stacks merged and tweaked with PS2.

Hey Matt, that's a lovely mosaic! Great scale, contrast and processing.

I see a bit of a cross-hatching - is this with the DSI?

Thanks Mike. I had noticed the crosshatch so I went back to the original 16 bit FITS shots and opened them with several programs. Hatching in all, so odds are its the camera. I did choose the web mode when capturing so I will have a quick run tonight to eliminate that possibility. Strange that I never noticed it on my DSOs.
