Another Jupiter Animation

I finally got round to putting this together a month ago but couldn't work out how to post the resulting 450kb GIF hence the zipped file. I took these shots at Astrofest last year over about three hours from memory. This is an animation comprising every second of the 70 odd images I acquired.

There is one moon visible at the left limb of Joop in a few of the frames.

Thanks for looking!

Peter

Nice work Peter, some good detail there, just suffering a bit from the gif compression.

I'd prefer it was sped up a bit too, but it's a very smooth animation, well registered.

Thanks Mike and Gary. I't sure was a lot of work - especially stacking all those AVI's. How do you avoid the GIF compression Mike?

Very cool animation Peter, very smooth and some nice detail.

A lot of hard work went in to making this so you should be very proud.

Well done.

Thanks Matty/Ric. I probably could have got away with a lot less frames but wanted to get a smooth result - I'm quite happy with the result.
