Two cameras

Hi, here are two images of eta Carinae for comparison of two cameras. Both images were taken with Celestron 4” 500mm fl achromat in similar conditions. One image was shot with GStar –60 x 2.56 seconds at full gain. The other one with Pentax K100D Super 3 x 27seconds ISO1600 exposure. With both images I used violet – filter. I got Pentax for few weeks only and I’m still learning how to use it. But it looks to me that if I want to achieve same amount of detail with Pentax as I’m getting with GStar I will have to get longer focal length APO scope. So far I know which camera I do prefer. Any comments appreciated
