Strange indeed.
Tried uninstalling/installing IE7 again ?

Sounds like windows is unsure of your default browser, possible corrupt install.

I have to agree with GTS32, firefox is so much more user friendly.
But that doesnt exactly solve your problem as such.

I hate IE with such a passion, for reasons similar to this. I will be useless for helpful suggestions. The best thing i ever did was turn my back on microsoft. Have you tried researching a workaround for links that require IE (never hear of that problem before).

Tried IE7 on my XP machine and was not impressed so went back to 6. Having said that it runs fine on this one with Vista Home Premium installed.

That is a plugin that turns your firefox into IE (well as far as the website knows).

In terms of your problem, reinstalling IE7 would be a good place to start.

Make sure you have the latest version & that your computer is up to date with all of the new updates. I have worked on several vista machines with this problem and installing the updates seemed to fix it.
Cheers
