Double Iridium!!

Meant to post this yesterday, but I guess work tierdness got the better of me and I forgot.

On Wednesday night after checking Heavens Above, Margaret and I decided to have a satellite hour.

At 19:51WDST the new ESA ATV craft was supposed to be the first but I guess it decided to go somewhere else as it didnt appear. Next the ISS, and right on queue at 20:00 fom the WSW for 5 min to th N.

The showpiece for the evening was to be an Iridium at mag 0.0 and just above Crux traveling south. Again on time and spot on positioning but the surprise was instead of one there were two flares going parallel only 1 degree apart. They were visible for about 6 seconds or so. Great sight!!
