WANTED: Toucam 840k or 900N?

Hi Guys,

Time to upgrade and get yourself a DMK If you have a toucam 840k or 900N with 1.25inch nosepiece adapter that you want to part, let me know.

Prefer the non-modded version.

Thanks.

ps. MSY are selling the 900N for $83 i know .

The 900nc is preferred over the 840k, if you can pick one up. You might need to contact Steve Mogg for the 1.25" adapter.

It has a better chipset design and a better codec (YUY2).

I have a 1.25" adaptor spare if you need one. I got it when I got my modded 840K. Let me know if you want it. I'll check at home to see if it's baffled and annodised (no idea what that means, but my first one is baffled, annodised, so if it looks the same, I'll let you know ).

Hey Eric,

Looks like you're getting interesting in planetary work Eric

I love my 900nc. Got it from MSY at Christmas time. I've made some attempts at Mars and Saturn but have been too busy to even attempt Jupiter yet

Anyway, you're imaging has inspired me so much Eric. You're pushing the boundaries of your equipment in the suburbs and that impresses far more than millionares living on acerage under the most pristine skies with $50k + of equipment.

As much as I'm looking forward to a Jupiter imaging campain, I appreciate the difficulties you have been experiencing recently. If you are genuinely stuck to get one, I'll happily give you mine (including plastic 1.25" Mogg adapter) and forgo the Jupiter season. Just PM me.

Thanks for all the great images Eric You are the master

Have fun,
Doug

What a wonderful gesture. When you analyze it though (with Eric's penchant for chopping and changing DSLR's), the smart money on him giving it back within a week, and upgrading to the DMK or similar, LOL.
