Baader Hyperion Eyepieces

I've just had a quote from alpineastro in the US on a couple of Baader Hyperion eyepieces to be sent to Brisvegas.
The eyepieces are $99 US each and it's $30 for insured postage for two eyepieces to be sent.

The current exchange rate from x-rates.com is about $1.11 oz to the US.
If my calculations are correct, that would cost me $228 US or $253 oz for two eyepieces.

I see that the Hyperions a local store are ~$260 each. (I won't mention names as I have bought other items from them before with good service).
Am I missing something?
Obviously I wouldn't be getting local customer service, but it's an eyepiece.
You just look through it. Why the discrepancy?
Am I overlooking something? Honestly. I am just about to send my order and I'm worried I'm making a mistake and seeing as this will be my first big eye-piece purchase I'm a little nervous.

Short answer: My understanding is that the Australian distributor for Baader Hyperion is Extravision (see page 1 of most Sky & Space, AS&T magazines). Deja vu?
