Possibly my best Saturn

I think this is possibly my best image of Saturn. The seeing was better than yesterday but the Full Moon was drowning out most of Saturn’s detail.

Banding on the planet and the Cassini Division is clearly visible.

Details:

Celestron 8SE SCT f/20 – 4000mm
DMK 21AU04.AS + 2x Barlow
Processed with R4
Stack Size: 600/1800

Thanks for looking.

Great image Matty. You'll be surprised but the moon doesn't really impact planetary imaging much at all.

A loss of a bit of contrast, but apart from that - seeing is king.

Saturn & Titan

I actually captured a one of Saturn's moons. I put it through PS to make the moon it a bit brighter.

Titan at 8.41 mag
