EQ Head to pier problem

I recently obtained a pier from Bert for my EQ6.

Now, both mounts of Berts fit this pier. Both his HEQ5 and his EQ6. And I see these Piers advertised around the world for EQ6.

But when I went to set it up today, my EQ6 doesn't attach the same way!!!!

Rather than having the 3 threaded holes in the side of the Mount Head, I have a single threaded post.

Below I have shown the pier with an EQ6 on it, then the top of the pier with the 3 holes around the top.

Below that on the left, I show the type of EQ6 Mount Head that fits this pier, then on the right is my model EQ6 Mount Head.

Totally different!

Has anyone fitted my type of EQ6 Mount Head to one of these style piers, and how did you do it????????

Thank you

Ken It just occurred to me you will need the top bit from a pillar extension. I had forgotten I had used the that bit to fix the EQ6 to the pillar mount.
