Gladwrap
I had a friend over for dinner the other night and as we were tidying up he asked where the glad wrap was. I said where do you think it is and he replied the third draw. My reply was Yep! Is it an unwritten rule to keep the glad wrap in the third draw? Why? Out of all the people I know only my mother-in-law is different, and hers is in the top draw, it is so frustrating when I visit.

Second one here, but since we only have 2 thats not surprising.
No, wait a minute, the top one is a pull out worktop so it is the 3rd draw.

Yep you picked it, I just had to go and check to make sure it's the third drawer and there is the Gladwrap right next to the Aluminium foil.
Cheers

The comedian Jimeoin summed it up in his song entitled 3rd draw down from the top. I just checked it's on the front page of his website if you'd like a listen

In a dispenser inside the pantry door (there's always someone to spoil the party isn't there?)
...but all my life before we had the dispenser it was the 3rd draw when I was growing up at home and I followed the tradition... then my ex-wife had to be different an bought a dispenser...

My glad wrap and alfoil also live in the pantry cupboard, on the 3rd shelf down of course, but the freezer bags, etc, do still live in the3rd drawer.
As son as I read the title of this I was also thinking of the Jimeoin song as well *laughs* it IS a beauty!

Worse, It's english with an Irish accent (no offence to any Irish out there)
Ours is in the fourth draw, we have tea towels in the third which now explains why my wife wraps my sandwiches in tea towels
