Venus - 29/11/2007

This is the last from my morning of imaging on the 29th November. I was up at 1:30am, and imaged Mars, the Moon, Saturn and then Venus. (those images coming soon/later)

I only grabbed one avi of Venus with the red filter only, as I was tired and wanted to go back to bed

This was with the 3x barlow - the seeing wasn't steady enough at the low altitude (17°) for any more focal length. I'm still waiting for my UV filter - I've been told it was being sent this week - so maybe I'll have it next week. Unfortunately i'm running out of time with this morning apparition, and the evening apparitions are no good for me thanks to trees

Great pic, just a shame there isn't more to see on Venus.....

I keep looking keenly at your images of Venus Mike, waiting for the day you get cloud detail on that murky sphere ... not this time, maybe next time
