NGC1968 in LMC

Hi Guys,

Heres abit of nebula in the LMC. NGC1968 and some small clusters. Quite interesting area with the top neb abit of green.

10 x 5 minutes at ISO 400.

thanks houghy. there are more neb region on the right hand side. dont know what it is called and my fov couldn't reach it.

Here you go Eric your image superimposed on a widefield. Gives all of us an idea of where we are.

Of course at your scale the image shows very good detail.

That 10'' is doing the job.

cheers bert. there are also a few smaller nebs around it. Might give those a go too.

Great composition there, an unusual set of nebulae not often seen like that. yes the green in that top nebula is striking

There are so many interesting blobby bits in the LMC.

Have you thought about making a mosaic of the whole LMC at that image res?
Yes, it would probably take up a whole wall, but it would be interesting to join them all up into a massive wall size poster

Eric there is a very interesting O3 neb consisting of rings to the 'right'. This should be quite good imaged with your fast 10".
