Sounded like it was a good game.. what a thrashing for a grand final.

I think the 1-point affairs between Sydney and Perth would've been a better spectacle for the fans.

Congrats Geelong for a fine win,

we were beaten by a better team on the day. Least we were the best of the losers.

Well deserved win by the Cats , the best team by far all year and today they hushed up all disbelievers.

Apart from Geelongs total commitment and relentless onslaught, the game itself was a one sided dud.
I doubt if any current team could've beaten them today, they were totally awesome!

I was very pleased at today's outcome, even though I don't follow sport.
Congrats to both sides for making it to the top.

That monkey is off the back for good! As long-time Geelong fans, we're all relieved. Whatever is said about not being a close game, that's noones fault. We are so excited in the house tonight. We're going to crack open one or two frothy ones. We had a loss of a young family member recently who was a dedicated Geelong fan, so on a personal level, it is a sweet victory. We're all stoked.

Thumbs up Well done Cats

As a Port fan I'm abit sad they didn't put up a fight. You have to support your club and all (you even have to believe you can win), But the Cats had been the best side all year and showed it yesterday, So well done and hopefully our young side can learn and go one better next year. On a lighter note it's about time the Vics pulled their weight in the AFL. They are becoming a bit like England, can't win at a game they invented.
