WANTED: Solar filter to suit ED80
Hi all
I'd like to get a (white light) solar filter for my Saxon ED80, to be able to take full-disc images of the Sun.
If you have one you don't use, and would like to sell it, please PM me.
Thanks

I was thinking of the glass type, but houghy's post did remind me of the baader/mylar film type.
I guess i'm open to either.

Glass JMB class A runs $115 new (bintel).
Personally I have not convinced my self to trust my eyes to mylar.

Baader film
Thanks houghy for the link.
AS&T had this test report not so long ago. The Baader saftey film was the pick out of 4 different solar filters. For $35 I most certainly will get one myself soon.
Cheers

I have JMB one for an ED80, but not for anywhere near $35.
