with the moon returning back for a little while its the only thing a deep sky person can shoot, still plenty of interesting things .

Fantastic image, very nice work. What do you have your 12" mounted on?

I took an image of this area with my 10" + 5x powermate + DMK last year.

Mounted on a G11 . if you want to have a look its on "Show us your equipment " post no 312

I had the rings made up by a local bunch, they got some similar sized stainless steel pipe cut a band off, and because stainless is "springy" i only need attatching bolts on one side. then acurved nounting block and a custom made plate , which also has brackets for a kendrick digfire and the hand controller to tidy up the cable situation a bit.

heres a shot of the scope i sent to the engineers to make me an additional counterweight, its taken inside the observatory so its not its best angle.

I smoothed out a bit of the noise and sharpened it a little.
