What are you planning on replacing them with, John? Pentaxes? Radians? Naglers? Tak LE's?

Wayne,
I don't know that I really need any more eyepieces, I already have the Pentax XW's which I like a lot, they also barlow very well in the 2.5X TV Powermate so I have almost the same powers available with the XW's and the Pomermate as I have with the UO Orthos. The Pentax XW's give me the 20mm of eye-relief that I need and they are also very sharp and contrasty with excellent light transmission. I have had the Pentax XW's for over a year and kept both sets because I don't need the money from the sale of the orthos, but really they are taking up space without being used very often. When I do use them its only for sentiment sake as I could cover the option with a Pentax XW either native or barlowed. If I sell the set of orthos and the 20mm Pentax XW I may buy the 26mm Nagler T5, very undecided at the moment.

PS- I think that the view of Jupiter you are referring to, that you and Louie "spilled your coffee" over, was actually a 10mm Pentax XW in the TV 2.5X Powermate which gives 310X in my scope. The orthos however provide image quality just as good as the Pentax XW's with unfortunately shorter eye-relief. Its also worth remembering that to get a good image of Jupiter at over 300X you need "good air" and a "good mirror" to go with the eyepiece combination thats in the scope.
Actually come to think of it I, Mike had a few of the orthos in my scope pointed at Jupiter at one stage of the night, so maybe that was the view you were referring to?
