Jupiter from Melbourne Aug 22

Well with a very large and slow moving high over Victoria at least it's been clear this week.

Here is a shot of Jupiter from this evening. The image was all over the place on the laptop screen so quite surprised by the quality of the image that resulted. I guess chilling the mirror helps heaps.

Hope others are getting out there.

Another very nice image John, especially given the conditions you describe. I'm amazed at how far Europa's shadow is from the moon itself - shows how long it's been since I've been able to image Jupiter!
