Arrow Sunset over Brisbane Water

These shots were taken on the night that Venus and Saturn were at closest conjunction.

Unfortunately as you can see, clouds ruined the chance to get a nice photo of the conjunction, so I took the opportunity to capture some sunset shots instead.

In some of the later ones you can actually see Venus poking out through the clouds, but Saturn was too dim and the clouds too thick.

Taken with the 350D + Sigma 17-70mm lens on a fixed tripod.

Thanks for looking.
