Hi Guys

This seems to be an interesting significant event, id like to see more about it.

There seems to be some agro about previous postings about it, I dont understand why and dont care (and the MRO poll was also closed, what was that for???), dont just kill it with "closed thread". Cant see the point in that really, very odd.

What an awesome 1st prize, sheesh. And given Johns contraversial opinions, it would be worth going just to hear what he says !!!!!

The Agro about the event is justified. But you say you don't care as to the reason , so that means we don't have to repeat it then.

All it will do is raise the same argument and this thread will get closed too.

The MRO poll was closed because Bert asked for his account to be removed, nothing to do with john dobson?

As for Skytopia, there's been a thread or two about it already - what else do you need to know? As far as I know, the latest info is in the PDF on Bert's site, which you'd already know
