Can someone identify this type of bolt?
They have the normal camera thread, the thread is 12mm long.
The bolt needs to go through the larger hole in the bar.
Looking to get a few spares.
Brendan if it fits in the camera mount it's a 1/4 x 20 (20 teeth per inch). Go to any bolt place and ask for a 1/4 stainless steel socket head cap screw 1/2 inch long.
Bunnings do not have a good range of this stuff, any bolt and bearing place should have them or you can buy them online.

Brendan,
Although UNC and British Standard Whitworth(BSW) are similar, they are not identical. The pitches at each imperial diameter are the same eg 20 threads per inch for a 1/4" thread. However the pitch angles are different.
Whitworth is 55 degrees UNC is 60 degrees. That means that while a BSW male thread will screw into a UNC hole, a UNC male thread won't easily screw into a BSW hole. It might bind. Given that you want to screw into a female, the safest option is to buy a BSW machine screw.
