My new (old) ED100

Hi,
Just wanted to share news of my new addition to the family - an older Skywatcher Black Diamond ED100. Got it from Cash Converters for $500, hoping it's going to be ok. I had a quick look through in the shop during daylight, couldn't really tell though. There are some marks and maybe scratches on the main lens, but hopefully nothing too bad.

Came in case with diagonal, stock eyepiece, finder, a couple of filters (Meade green and bintel ND96 moon glow reducer).
Hopefully clouds will disappear tonight!
Stephen

That seems like a decent buy they are $1700 new from Testar and OZ-Scopes for the ED100 doublet.
I may be wrong in saying this but I'm led to believe the scratches shouldn't impair imaging (or viewing) because they are too close for the focal point. Some could be dust too which would clean off carefully.

First light last night was very brief, but I had beautiful views of the nearly full moon with 31mm angler. Wonderful to see the wide fov after years of the f15 maksutov.
