31st July : the Sun on last day of July 2024

31st July.
A nice sunny day in winter (unusual for SE Australia). Four pics are shown - the first at 540 nm to show the sunspots - some nice ones. The rest of the images are at Ha wavelength 656 nm to show the prominences, flares etc. All line up with north up.
These are all single exposures with a Canon 550d camera.

Noice shootin' and good action again John,
Forecasts possible aurora tonight/ATM down Sth from those spots you have there and them prominences are looking fine..
