300D from lhansen

Hi people

A while back Lars Hansen posted a for sale ad for a Canon 300D, which he later withdrew. Knowing I was interested in the camera he contacted me a couple of weeks ago as it was again on the market. We agreed a price and the deal was done. Now - remembering I'm in the UK here and went away on holiday the same day I paid for it, the camera arrived here *well* wrapped for the journey and exactly as Lars described it two days after I got back

It's not often I start a new thread to praise someone - but in this case I'm really excited about getting the camera (it's to use in the 22") and very pleased with the deal and service I got from Lars - and since the original thread is now in the archives I had to do something!!

Always good to hear good news, to balance the weight of dreary negative stuff in the media that seems to fill our TV screens, radios, news papers, e-mails and web pages.

Cheers

Blown away

Arthur,

I'm rather blown away by your posting - thank you. The rule is simple, treat others like you would like to be treated yourself.

I hope you enjoy using the camera as much as I did.

Lars

Scandinavians or those with Scandinavian names are a trustworthy bunch – Viking honour and all that stuff!

Cheers

See, that is the absolutely great thing about this community, and also in my experience the greater astro community, all are decent everyday folk. I have bought and sold a bit, well OK a bit more than a bit, and have always had nothing but nice people to deal with. Like Lars said, treat others as you want to be treated, it works for me.
