Starlight Xpress

Hi all, out of interest I was having a web search today for retailers of the Starlight Xpress CCD cameras but was unable to find any.

The SX website says that York Optical/AOL are the dealers but they have no mention on their websites about these cameras.

Does anyone know of anybody selling these in Australia?

I once read that AEC also sold these in Australia. (Click link in Right Hand navigation strip).

The trick to get the 5% discount is to find another aussie seller, so you can tell
A.E.C. their price!

They don't mention much at all about them or the prices.

I know the US prices are around $6000 for the M25. Up in the SBig range.

I purchased mine direct from the UK as it worked out much cheaper (Ian King was the man). Take the UK price, subtract 17% (their VAT) then covert to Aussie Dollars to give you a rough estimate of the price.

My first camera order got lost in the mail but Ian replaced it - no questions asked.

Thanks for the info David.

I had a thought, if you subtract their 17% for VAT would you then have to add 10% for our GST.
