NGC6992 East Veil Nebula

Still continuing on my theme of imaging northern targets, this time I present the East Veil Nebula.

Despite the low transit in my northern sky, and passing through the town light dome, I'm very pleased with the results.

This is just under 11 hours of HOO integration, processed in Pixinsight.

Be sure to see it big on Astrobin!

Processing:
Stars:
ABE > LinearFit > ChannelCombination > SPCC > StarX

Stars were then stretched in GHS

NB:
LinearFit > BlurX (no star reduction) > StarX > NoiseX > GHS

PixelMath to combine into HOO.
CurvesTransformation for Colour.

PixelMath to bring the stars back, and a final run of BlurX to reduce the stars.

Enjoy and Thanks for looking!
