I have decided to downsize my scope collection as well as attempt to move on some other gear that is just no longer used. First item looking for a new home is a truly excellent Meade Series 5000 80mm, f6 Triplet with dual speed focusser.
Not this specific scope but, a single speed version of this scope was my first 'real' telescope & it performed beautifully. However, in chasing aperture I sold the original only to lament the fact later, hence, I bought another one, this time with a dual speed focusser.
Has been well looked after & for it's age is in very good condition. Optics are clear as, focusser does feel a smidge sticky (can't think of another way to describe it) but, does move smoothly.
Comes with a Meade Series 5000 Dielectric 2" star diagonal which includes 1.25" adapter. All fits neatly into it's aluminium case which is also in very good condition (although the top piece of foam in the lid is loose, just needs regluing in but, is fine as it is as well).
I have used this scope for both visual & AP, performs very in both.

Alternatively, I am chasing a current model Ioptron Sky Guider Pro so, willing to discuss trade opportunities.
More items to come, most notably an Ioptron CEM25 mount & tripod.
