Granddaughters

Hi

Two of my granddaughters were at our home this evening.

Took them up to the top balcony to see the moon rise over the beach.

I pointed out Sirius and Canopus, and why they are important.

Then, what should be racing across the sky but the ISS.

How cool was that. The girls were impressed and raced down to tell Nana.

Being a Poppy is pretty good.

Life is good.

Greg, I have five granddaughters, the eldest is 8yo and already has her first telescope, an 80mm refractor (a gift from me). She calls me up to find out when the Moon is rising, fullness, etc. Her 6yo sister is right into it as well. When they visit my house they always want to go out to Grandpa's Cubby House (My observatory). Keep up the tutorials.
