M-83 w/QHY8 Camera

Hi All,
Finally had a clear night, ive been trying to get a really good Pix. of M-83 but this isnt it, not bad but I want to do some 30 Min. Exp. which I cant due to slight misalignment of my mount (fixing) this instead is 3 x 10 Min. Exp. added (no DF removed, nice cool camera) just not the same a real long exposures.

M-83, LX200-10" at F-10 guided w/ ED80 + MX7C, 3 x 10 Min. Exp.

cheers....Jim

Looks good Jim. Soft colouring which is good.

A touch out of focus perhaps which is a shame.. or guide error?

Very nice Jim, you have captured some great little dust lanes within the galaxy.

Cheers

The dreaded focus has reared its ugly head.
What a shame, this image had heaps of data.

Just one question Jim, are you using DDP to bring out the extra image data ?.
