7th Feb Sun images

7th Feb.
A clear sky this morning but the atmosphere was rough which made imaging difficult. I have posted yesterdays sunspot image so you can compare it with today's image as some new spots have formed.
Also shown are two Halpha images showing various features - esp. the long filament. All single exposures with Canon 550d. Thanks for viewing.

Good to see John! We had other commitments today so didn't get a chance to view or image. AR3216 looks like it might be another big and active region. It was probably responsible for some of the huge proms and the plasma jet a couple of days back.
