Christmas wide stuff

Hi all,

been a while since I posted any results.
Here are a few sets with the old QHY8 and Nikon 50mm SLR lens, over Christmas/ New Year holidays.

1. Orion 1st Qtr Moon (last night)
2. LMC from Broken Hill (Full Moon)
3. Southern Cross
4. Sirius/ Puppis panorama stitch

Nice set of images. Where are you imaging from? I think I got total 2 clear nights in Dec-Jan combined.

Hi Dave,

Mostly suburban Adelaide but LMC was from Broken Hill NSW. Wasn't a serious attempt due to full moon but quite amazed what processing and gradient removal ( a new processing concept to me) achieved.
