Tony,

A couple of years ago I built a 12" reflector from bits I bought from Telescopes & Astronomy in Adelaide and plans I found in various websites.

Their website is www.telescopes-astronomy.com.au

I was lucky enough that I drove to Adelaide regularly and was able to check out the parts and discuss the 'extras' I would need.

Matthew was very helpful and I think the end result is pretty good.

Anyway, I hope this is useful and wish you luck with your project.

Tony - what do you want them for? Are you building a set of binos, or a couple of monoculars with secondaries - hence the term "set"? What's your budget?

Cheers
Chris

Scroll down to the parts section: primary mirrors from 6" to 16" (16's arriving August) plus secondaries to suit, etc, etc.

I think in this case "mirror set" implies primary and secondary Chris...

Sorry i haven't replied to this post for i bit
Yes Arthur is correct, 'set' is what we refer to in the UK, as the primary and secondary mirrors for a single scope.
Sorry for any misunderstanding guys.....

Sorry guys, we have lived in Perth for nearly 18 months now, but i am still in uk mode

I still call;
the dunny..... the bog
stubbies.......dumpies
being crook....bad fettle
soccer.........footy
large van or truck.......a lorry
garden irrigation systems........re-tic
vauxhall's.......holdens (oops better not go there)
and many more things (very numerous to my work mates)
---------------------------------------
I have however gotten used to calling;
pickup trucks......utes
beer or alcohol in general....p**s A real eye opener, when a girl says it
boy racers......hoons
and last but not least, being thrown arse over tit into the sand by massive waves......dumped or stacking it
(Not very nice when your over 40 and are built like barney gummble from 'the simpsons' )

All the best guys........
Tony..........

Bogan? Shouting "Resistance is useless" loudly and humming "Da Da Dadaaaa..." ? Big yellow spaceship? Writing bad poetry?
