An Early Spider

NGC 2070 The Tarantula Nebula
Over 20 hours of data taken over several nights and over a year of old and new data.
Combination of 180, 300 and 600 second subs then combined in Astropixel processor.
RGB and Ha extracted and used as a luminance layer.
One shot colour ZWO 294mc pro and the Optolong L Extreme.
TSOptics 130mm with the riccardi 0.75 reducer, ASIAIR
As the season progresses I will be adding more and more data and see what eventuates.

Wow that’s beautiful! Really skilful processing. Did you find the Ha data made a good difference to the final image? I thought being such an Oiii rich target you could have used that too..? Will you continue adding more data to the same fov or expand into a mosaic now?

Hi Dave, That's the ideaI could have added O3 ande made an HaOO recombination but the amount of time it took to process just the Ha and RGB with over 200 images I got lazy. Remember I only use a one shot colour camera so the L-Extreme does all the work in regards to the filtring.
When I get more data later on I'll revisit and sort it all out.

Amazing shot. All those hours have really paid off. Love the true color. I have only been able to get any detail with NB. Thanks for sharing!
