3rd Oct Sunspots

3rd Oct. Managed to get a pic of the Sun's northern hemisphere today thru light cloud (too cloudy for Ha shots). A lot of spots make up AR 3112 on the east side. AR 3110 has had multiple flares recently and AR 3122 has had some as well. Taken at 1.00 UT on 3rd oct.

Single exposure with Canon 550d camera on a WO 81 mm refractor, Herschel wedge at 540 nm. Cheers John W.

Good grab through the clouds today John. Some really interesting regions to view at the moment
