We had been watching the GONG and seeing some very impressive proms on the eastern limb. They lifted off spectacularly and by the time we got an opportunity to actually look, they had all gone!! We did however manage to see the interesting large filament from the last few days reach the western limb. Two 30 second videos was all we could grab. We had seen a possible hole in the clouds coming and the Quark had only just reached temperature in time. So one single image. This weather pattern is testing our ability to capture any image at all.
Image taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.
