AZGTI ASI + AIR Plus = Alt Az mode?

I've searched everywhere (Cloudy, ZWO, SL etc) for an answer to this...

Is it possible to connect the AA+ to AZGTI in AZ mode and track?

Everything seems to work, inc plate solves, but the mount does not track in AZ.

Using latest firmware and apps on all devices: 3.37 MC on the mount (Right side OTA).

Tried all the SW drivers on the AA+
I get the feeling that the AA+ with this mount is an EQ only affair.

Why are you doing AP in ALT AZ mode !?.
Are you unwell?.

Hah!

Short exposure stacking for EAA works well in AZ.
Plate solve/align sync is quicker for me then a polar alignment.

Mainly visual, so swapping back to eyepieces works better in AZ.
