Sunspots 3rd March

3rd March. The Sun was not in the best position for me today - but this image shows the main sunspots visible. AR number 2956 appears to have faded and there is some more complexity around AR 2957. Yellow pics are single exposures with Canon 550d thru a WO 81 mm refractor. Orange pic is a H alpha image thru a Lunt 100 solar scope.

Very nice images John. In comparison to your February 28 image sunspot shots show significant changes to AR2957 while AR2958 appears to be fizzling at this stage. Proms look impressive as well. Thanks for posting

Great images as usual John. Still amazed at just single shot images! Your first and third images have captured the new AR2959 and 2960 nicely.
