Ngc3372

The centre of NGC3372 in Carina
I had a difficult run this night and thought i'd turn the 10" newtonian onto something a little brighter than galaxies
Just 35 x 1 min subs unguided
With the newt, zwo 533 and a Baader IR/UV cut filter

Top effort Tony . Nice colour combination. I know what you mean about a bad night. The first clear night in forever and somehow a cable pulled the focuser lock on my scope so only got 1 hour before the EAF tried to adjust focus . And 7 hours of lovely unfocused magic.

Yes mate it's frustrating.
1st night I used the newtonian I only got 2 hours from over 7 due to star trails

Nice!
The bright rimmed nebula just above the keyhole is always a challenge too.

Oh I see. Very fast scope at F/4 isn’t it?
Do you have plan to get longer exposure? That would be nice.

Nguyen, I don't mean to belittle Tony's nice image in any way, but any
half decent scope will produce such an image, the only proviso being that
the larger the scope, the smaller the detail it will resolve.

Looking forward to some deeper images Tony.

Yes Nguyen i do plan to get more data on this.
I plan to get a guide setup first so I can do more than 60 second subs because of the 35 i got i had to bin twice that number due to star trails.
I am very much a beginner and this was only the 3rd time using the newt
