Not sure how much you want to pay but Svbony SV202 8x32 ED are excellent value and currently at a good sale price at Amazon Au. ($111 normally $149)

I just bought my second pair after giving a pair to my daughter for bird watching and astronomy. Colours are simply beautiful in the daytime. Nighttime they are not quite as bright (ever so slight) as my Carson 8x32 ED but at current price I bought myself a pair to put in the glove box. They are very compact and waterproof. Case is nice too (semi-hard).

Great review here: https://neilenglish.net/product-revi...-ed-binocular/

There is also a 10x42 model.

Your the second person to recommend these, the reviews look good! Thanks.
I’ve been looking at the Vortex diamondback 8x32 HD as well so I’ll probably compare these, similar pricing as well.
